This issue is for December 2021. but beware that if you have lots of dead things lying around you're gonna get a ton of bones, hooves, etc. I had the same problem, but once I ordered them to collect refuse from everywhere (under "o," and then "r" IIRC), they got to work. you can also manually put "butcher a dead animal" on repeat manually at your butcher's workshop. Your dorfs might just be busy with other stuff while the corpses rot away, but your butcher will still be able to get the bones. If not, check that you have auto-butcher on under standing orders. maybe your butchers were busy doing other stuff for too long? Once you change your standing orders, your butchers should automatically process the corpses once they are put in the refuse pile. ![]() Kitfox Discord #modding-discussion channelīronzemurder and Oilfurnace (illustrated) A three step guide:ĭownload DF Classic or install the premium version from Steam or Itch.ioįollow the quickstart guide on the wiki, or see other learning resources (below)Īsk any questions in the ☼Bi-weekly DF Questions Thread☼ - it's always active See the reasons for our rules here, and please report any problems!ĭF can be intimidating, but we're dedicated to helping new players.
